    Dear All
I used Emirates when going from Toronto to Karachi. At Karachi airport, both of my bags were missing. I report to ground staff. My elder brother was suffering from Cancer & I had lot of meters like sugar, b-pressure etc & very Exp med in bags. Sorry to say, no one contacted me during my one month stay there. When I came back to Toronto again at Airport I asked rthem to update my file as I’m here now. Its over one month now & no one from Emirates even bother to give me status of my bags.
Pls advise whet should I do & where to contact in Canada.
    Thanks in advance

In April I flew from Trivandrum to DBX to the US; the TRV-DBX flight was late and I was put up for the night in Dubai, and put on a flight to Washington DC next day. But this meant my original connection on another airline from NYC to Denver had to be cancelled, and a new flight DC to Denver purchased. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT FOR EMIRATES ASSURED ME THAT I WOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR THE NEW DC-DENVER FLIGHT, for which I was grateful as the original flight would have been $100 and the new flight was $500 (because no advance purchase). I rebooked under this belief, assured repeatedly by the agent that my newly incurred costs would be covered. BUT WHEN I SUBMITTED THE COSTS TO EMIRATES, THE AIRLINE REFUSED TO PAY AS PROMISED. I was shocked, and will pursue this further, and meanwhile will avoid taking Emirates and advise my colleagues to do the same. Even if the Customer Service agent gave misinformation, I was not in a position to know that, and the airline should have stood behind her, not expected me to bear the burden of her mistake. This is shockingly unprofessional.

On May 21st I flew to Washington DC from Chennai. On 20th I tried to purchase excess baggage at a discount of 30 % but the transaction kept on failing and eventually paid 175 $ at the airport counter. I got e mail every time the transaction failed. On sending a mail to customer affairs they took their own sweet time and now tell me their system was fine. I asked for 50 $ refund which they refused . It took them 3 months to give me this negative reply and they justify their system which has sent me mails that transaction failed. This is EMIRATES
