Extra checked baggage allowances according to the passenger’s SKYPASS membership grade

    • When traveling with Korean Air, additional checked baggage could be granted reported by the passenger’s SKYPASS membership grade.(Limitations could implement if traveling by air with a SkyTeam partner airline or codeshare associates).

      • Morning Calm Club: Additional 10kg/22lbs (special of travel from/to the Americas)
      • Morning Calm Premium Club:¬†Additional 20kg/44lbs (special of travel from/to the Americas), extra piece of baggage (23kg/50lbs) for travel from/to the Americas.
      • Million Miler Club: Additional 30kg/66lbs (exceptional of travel from/to the Americas), extra piece of baggage (23kg/50lbs) for travel from/to the Americas.
    • International direction (route): Tickets issued on/after 31 May, 2012

Definition of Americas and other regions

    • Americas
      • Flights to/from/via USA, Canada, Caribbean, Central America, South America. (via Pacific)
      • There are constraint in the weight, size and number of baggage products for every cabin class.
    • Other Regions
      • All flights that leave out locations categorized in the Americas for example from/to Korea, Japan, Europe, etc.
        (International route: Tickets released on/before 30May2012/ Domestic) It is issue to total weight irrespective of the number of baggage.
        (International route: Tickets issued on/after 31May2012) There are restriction in the weight, size and number of baggage products for every cabin class irrespective of the number of baggage is exposed to weight.
      • In the event of Guam and Palau, relevant guideline to/from Americas should be used for tickets distributed on/before 30 May, 2011, and relevant rule to/from other locations other than Americas should be used for tickets released on/after 31 May, 2012.

The maximum weight per piece of baggage

The maximum weight per piece of baggage is 32kg/70lbs and the maximum dimension (sum of width, height, and depth) is 158cm/62ins. Checked baggage is refined from the baggage managing services of the airport and transmitted upon the plane by baggage managing staff. For the security of such staff, the maximum weight for a single piece of baggage is 32kg/70lbs, irrespective of seat class and/or additional baggage cost. Almost everything or piece of baggage that surpasses this weight restrict and/or has a maximum size (sum of width, height, and depth) in overabundance 158cm/62ins is susceptible to negativity.

    I will be flying business class from Hong Kong to Honolulu.
    I will have 1 large bag and 1 golf bag to play in Hawaii.
    Is there a fee ?
